10 Things I Am Loving Right Now March 2019

Welcome to the march edition of 10 things the blog series in which I share articles, projects, books, tips, tools and more that are currently inspiring me… and that may also inspire you!

1, Let’s start as we mean to go on…. RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 returns to our screens this week with a healthy dose of kitsch, colour and life lessons. I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, in fact we haven’t owned one for about 5 years but this show is something that keeps me up to date with a healthy dose of pop culture and sass. Out on Netflix now… are you a fan?

2, International Women’s Day 2019 falls on Friday 8th of March and see’s thousands of events taking place all over the world. The 2019 theme is #BalanceforBetter. This year I have decided to reflect on the everyday win of women questioning why it’s still just the one day each year that we are shouting from the rooftops about our strength, success and equality? What are you doing to mark this huge annual occasion?

3, I have been tuning into my monthly cycle in a more fun way for the past few weeks using the Hormone Horoscope app! It’s free and an insightful way to work out what is going on day to day with hormone levels and tips on how to work with my cycle for the best daily outcome!

4, I have been planning what to grow in the allotment this year and have filled my shopping cart with wonderful veg and salad varieties from Sarah Raven! I am lucky to be part of a seed swap network and also a volunteer at my local community garden where I am inundated with inspiration and advice from more seasoned gardeners!

5, Super excited to be part of the Nottingham Etsy Team and holding our first bi event of the year! Join us on Saturday 16th March for Notts Etsy Spring Summit! A day event for local sellers and team members filled with trainings traight from Etsy UK HQ as well as workshops and networking! Tickets still available here and just £10 for events, goody bag and refreshments
